On the 14th of July in Kazan, in the capital of Universal summer Universiade-2013, was organized the meeting of heads of the Fund of support and development of Sambo- Mihail Shultz and Yurii Tuzhilkin with the representatives of foreign sport delegations. At the meeting were present honorable presidents of International federation of sambo- Mihail Tihomirov and David Rudman, president of Russian student sport union, vice-president of International federation of student sport Oleg Matycin, general secretary of the Olympic Committee of Russia Marat Bariev, and also heads of national federations of sambo of Europe, Asia and America, among who were Viorel Gyska, Igor Shashurin, Dmitryi Samoshuk, Dmitryi Stoyanov, Ata Adaev, Boris Brezhnev and others. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of the holder of Olympic order Valeryi Sysoev.
The Chinese delegation was represented by president of Beijing University of Sport, professor Yan Hu, head of the Center of Olympic training Yan Binshen, and also numerous members of international sport community of China.
The parties touched vital questions and perspectives of development of sambo in the world. Members of the Federation of sambo of China told about the origin of sambo in their country, their counterparts from Japan told about success of Japanese sportsmen for the last years. Presidents of national federations of Europe and America shared their working experience concerning the development of sambo in their countires.
The meeting was held in businesslike atmosphere with mutual interest of all participants.
